There is a reason cats have
Survived the thousands of
Years they have been on
Earth. They are wiley, smart,
Predatory fur balls that win
Their way into your heart
Unless you have a Siamese
Then they talk your leg off
Their big trick is training us
To bring them their food, but
We do not mind
The chair sits in the corner of
Of the room, empty, and no
One has sat in it for quite a
While. Since you left me I don’t
Let anybody else sit in it. It hurts
To even look at it and brings back
Painful memories. What keeps me
Going is the hope you will come
Back to me someday.
Many people throughout life
Work and play and love and live
With all sorts of people,
Especially their loved ones
And families. It is the human
Instinct to strive to show their
Love and passion in greater
Ways. They are striving to
Reach the top of the hill.
Some beings drop in
On earth and blend in
With the rest of humanity
Except for one vital difference.
When you look at them in the
Right light, you can see their
Wings
I live each day
With great rejoicing
The sun shines and
I bathe in its glory
My loved ones are
The sunshine of my
Life
I have ghosts as tenants
In my old house
They are good renters
But a little noisy
The world is teeming with the building
Blocks of all the objects we see in
Nature–plants, animals, trees, rivers
There is a special process, a unique
Photosynthesis, that produces an
Absolutely wonderful essential
Known as love.
A lone dandelion
On a hilltop gets
Buffeted by the
Wind on a bright
Spring day
Its seeds are spread
All over the hill and
Country side to
Celebrate spring
With bright yellow
Flowers
Look up in the sky and
There is a breathtaking
Sight of a huge cloud
Of monarch butterflies,
Thousands of them,
Making their three
Thousand mile trip
To a warmer climate
How can a delicate
Creature do such an
Extraordinary thing?
This is the power of
Nature
The cellar is guarded
By spiders watching over the
Canned goods in the dark
And the satchel of money
From the bank robbery
