People like to explore
Many things, places,
Ideas. Some become
World wide explorers.
But the most challenging
Territory to explore is
Your inner self.
Deer
There was a deer standing
In our front yard. It did not
Move. It looked us and
Walked away.
Corridor
I stood at the beginning
Of a long corridor and
Began to walk down
It passing busts of
Famous and ordinary
People. When I got
To the end of the
Aisle I found myself
Staring at a bust of
Myself.
Willow
In the Spring
this tree has
One Thousand myriad
branches
tender gold shoots
softer than silk
in this wild unpeopled field
Who does this Willow belong to?
Mountain
Look and see how tall
That mountain is ahead
Of you. Pretty imposing,
Isn’t it? You can climb
That mountain if you just
Put one foot in front of
The other.
Socks
Why didn’t Einstein wear
Socks? Did it help him
Think?
If it took that to accomplish
His groundbreaking work,

Sleep
Sleep is the thing eagerly
Looked for by people at
The end of a exhausting
Day.
Turn out the lights, close
Your eyes, and wash the
Previous day out of your
Mind as you start counting
Sheep.

When lying in bed at night
In the dark and you are

A random noise comes
