We believers rejoice when
We hear that the Lord
Jesus Christ is coming. The
Rapture of the Church will
Be sudden, like a blink of an
Eye and unannounced. The
Dead and those of us who
Are still living will be caught
Up in the air, the clouds, to
Be with the Lord Jesus Christ.
Then we’re taken to heaven to
Live with HIm forever. This
Glorious event could happen
At any moment, for we are
Now living in the end times.
Looking for that blessed hope–
Come, Lord Jesus Christ, come!
We play the game
We dance the dance
The joy is in the love,
The process, the
Eternal now.
How many people remember
The beginning of a dream,
Ancient as dawn, a dream of
Destiny, conjuring up the
Flesh, the earth, the dream
We were once one soul?
Seems like we are stuck in
A rut and will never get
Out of our dreary life. We
Think things will be the
Same forever. But one
Day a revelation hits us
Out of the blue that
Rebirth is possible for
Everyone.
There was a little boy in
Grade school who was
Fat and shy so he asked
His teacher if he could
Spend his recesses in the
Library. The librarian
Befriended him. And he
Read all the books he
Wanted to while in the
Library. This led to a
Lifelong love of books.
The boy grew up to
Become a world famous
Poet.
Mom’s been around for
A long time. At 98 years
Young, she’s sharp as a
Tack, soft spoken. And
Mom is a little hard of
Hearing. Her love for
Her family and in-laws
Is real and returned
Back to Mom. It’s easy
To make her laugh.
And her gentle nature
Wins everyone over.
We want Mom to last
Forever.
We’re together here on earth
But we don’t know how many
Days any of us have left. The
Idea is to spend our time in
Harmony and doing things
Together. But the hammer
Falls: God takes both of us.
We are finally together in
Heaven.
You have always been there
For me and I have always
Been there for you as it
Has always been. Over the
Years the closeness has
Been a joy and unending
Adventure.
There is nothing more calming
And peaceful than a walk in a
Garden. Shade from the trees
And chirping birds create a
Atmosphere of blissful quiet.
Time spent sitting on a bench
With the one you love is time
You both wish would last
Forever.
