Love is in everything
That builds up, not
Tears down. It accepts
All of the person, the
Flaws as well as the
Good points. This is
What makes love love.
It’s the most powerful
Force in the universe.
Like the great teacher
Said, love the person
Next to you as yourself.
The world around me
Is full of examples of
God’s love
From sprouting seeds
To magnificent clouds
And sunny days to an
Innocent smile of a
Tiny baby and the love
That made it possible
God’s love is everywhere
The little boy stood in
Front of the huge tree
Which seemed to reach
Up to heaven. He stood
There for along time
Without saying anything.
A breeze began to blow
And the boy began to
Hear whispering voices.
It was the tree saying
Take care of me and I will
Take care of you in love.
The world is teeming with the building
Blocks of all the objects we see in
Nature–plants, animals, trees, rivers
There is a special process, a unique
Photosynthesis, that produces an
Absolutely wonderful essential
Known as love.
In the warmth of my mountain cabin
Sitting in front of a crackling fire
I have time to muse on my life
Where it will take me next
Staring into the flames I see
That I can not do without the ones
I love
When we carry love in our hearts
And use it to neutralize negativity
And other feelings that bring a
Person down, we have already
Gone to heaven and brought it
Back to earth with us
I love the idea of loving you
It makes sense to me
It is hard to determine what
Is real and not real
But our times together cement
The reality of our love existing now
And forever.
