Sunshine

An old aunt of mine used
To say let the sunshine in
With a smile on her face.
She made everyone happy
With her delightful attitude.
Smiles helped the sun shine.

Mom

Mom’s been around for
A long time. At 98 years
Young, she’s sharp as a
Tack, soft spoken. And
Mom is a little hard of
Hearing. Her love for
Her family and in-laws
Is real and returned
Back to Mom. It’s easy
To make her laugh.
And her gentle nature
Wins everyone over.
We want Mom to last
Forever.

Happiness

Happiness soars like
The wind blows the
Hair of people. Flags
Flap vigorously in
The town square
For all to look at
While holding on
To their hats. They
Are happy.

Let’s Have Fun

Skip down the sidewalk.
Make sure your neighbors
See you doing it.
Observe Red Rubber Nose
Day. Tell corny jokes on
Purpose. Tell serious people
It takes fewer muscles to
Smile than it does to
Frown. Feed a squirrel.
